Everybody's Working for the Weekend

Go Bears! Fun time at the football game as Cal rolled to a 41-3 win. The game was surprisingly close and the Cal offense looked awfully flat but it was a blast. Here are my annoyances from the game:
  • something about the row we were sitting in meant that we were the thoroughfare for all people trying to sneak into the student section.
  • there are a couple of idiots behind my seats that choose to comment on EVERY play and come off as fools. Good times.
So onto the weekend... Hannah decided that this weekend was her time to start to sleep in, sleeping until 7am or later for 4 straight days. I am not taking bets on how long this will occur for BUT we are enjoying it for now.

Saturday
- see above
Sunday
- H woke at 7 and we packed up the car and headed to Sacto for a family day. H was great in the car and when we got there basically R and I chilled as H played with Katie all day. Katie is a great big cousin, so patient with her. H played all day with no nap, we had dinner at FC and got back in the car at 7:00p and 2 minutes later she was out cold!
Monday - H chose to sleep until 8am, latest R or I could EVER remember her crashing for. She woke up crazy cranky but after her nap she perked up and was a treat. Had some friends over for dinner and H decided to entertain them. Silly dancing, singing, crazy playing.

Blah blah blah family crap, onto the important pieces of pop culture:

The EW Fall TV preview FINALLY came out so I can decide how I am wasting time in front of the TV this fall/winter/spring. Looks like there are only a few good new shows (Name is Earl, Invasion, Everybody hates...)which is good as I am dropping a few shows and adding a few to my crazy TV diet. The first show to start has been pretty stellar from my view - Prison Break. Just as gritty as TV can get outside of HBO. It is pretty tense and gripping and if Oz didn't scare me from going to jail this most certainly does. Nice use of HDTV.

The new FX comedies are great but will not last as they are just too out there to really find and audience.

Football this week...

This blog sucks as it is just a list of random thoughts on a Monday morning!
